Wow, what a difference.
Long story short. I purchased and installed a 4 camera 4K DVR surveillance system (from ANOTHER manufacturer). The camera image was excellent, BUT the fan noise from the DVR 24/7 drove us mad (I am so glad I did not install the DVR in the bedroom!). After numerous trips to the retailer, who despite their best efforts could not resolve the noise issue – they measured the fan noise at 70dB at the fan head!
