I love my mini Manfrotto, but once I started adding mics, lights, etc onto my smartphone I started getting nervous. I really like the stability and packability of this tripod. One thing that is great for recording smartphone video on a table, is that the height of this sits at the eyeliner, which just makes setting up a shot or a directional mic so much easier.

I always wanted the Switch pod and it doesn't disappoint. Quite lightweight in the hand but comfortable to hold. Quick set up time and always level.

Very good tripod, easy to use, light and so compact. Instead of Joby's 5K, the SwitchPod is more stable, lighter and quicker to setup.

This product is so useful! If you’re looking into making content, buy this now! It’s super lightweight and sturdy. I often see myself putting it on the ground when changing lenses on the go with ease. Did I mention it also helps with shaky footages?

This is without doubt the best table top tripod that I have seen or used. Its height gives it a major advantage along with its ease of use. On both counts it beats the gorilla pod and other table top tripods. it is also sturdy and stable enough to use with my DSLR.Apart from that it is both well made and a very neat piece of design

Was collecting money to buy this from long. I already had a gorillapod but for my everyday use, I found switchpod the best in use. Just one feedback for fedex delivery chain as it took a greater time than mentioned on the site. I recieved 3 days after the schedule date. Rest the product is awesome .

I had long awaited this product. I wasn’t able to participate in the kickstarter, but I ordered one soon after release. It arrived from Adorama in a nice, elegant box that is actually good for storage of this thing. As for it’s function, it’s a big step up from what many vloggers were using. For the most part, it’s sturdy and easy to hold. However, the hard metal, which makes it strong, isn’t 100% comfortable to hold for a long time. It’s not bad; it just gets a little tiring on the hand. It’s lightweight and won’t weigh you down while shooting video. It seems to keep the camera just far away enough for me to get a decent selfie shot when using it in that mode. The screw attachment for the camera seems strong; I have no fear that my camera is going to fall off the thing. It has nice rubber feet for when you lay the tripod down and even a hole near the top to attach some other items. However, I’m not so sure you can change it from selfie mode to tripod with a flick of the wrist as quickly as they show it. The way it holds just isn’t that easy for me, and I accidentally threw it on the floor once trying. It can be done, but you have to hold it a certain way first. The grip handle is only present where you can hold it in selfie mode, and I like to hold it even when I am not turning the camera on myself. It’s still usable, just less comfortable. Also, the legs that come out to make the tripod don’t hold together perfectly and have started to move on me when I have the camera’s neck strap around me and am walking. I thought there were magnets to hold it together, but, if so, they aren’t very strong. With this being said, it accomplishes it’s main purpose better than anything I’ve seen out there. The selfie mode stabilized the camera well when doing a selfie shot, and the tripod mode works well for stabilizing it on a surface. If you’ve been looking for something that makes it relatively easy to switch from one mode to the other, you really need to give this a try.
