Had 5his system a few yearsand had a few problems tostart with butovervthe last few yearsi have enjoyed to watch this systembeco e very dependable and very user friendly the system has had very few problems and is very easy to use the quality of pictures is very good after having this system for a longtime i would be very happy inthe future to update to a new system has i have now become very pleased with the way Swann have developed as company with a good customer service when ever i have had to deal with them so i hope to continue with Swann to cover my needs with security systems in the future

Works about 50% of the time. Randomly turns off and on, sometimes days later with no input from me. Recording has never worked. Would not recommend to anyone.

We have it for almost 2 years. During that time it stopped working over 30 times. Hard to remember exactly. And the only solution for fixing it was to remove the camera from the system and install it again. But that wasn't easy either. We straggled to do it for about an hour each time as it didn't want to be installed for some reason. Needed to be disconnected from the power, and reset many times before started working properly. There was no software update available for it, which probably could fix the problem. Also, if the camera is not connected (not working properly), there is no way to see the recording which suppose to be in the cloud. We were wondering, if someone will still the camera we won't be able to see who that was and what happened. Initially we had two of them, but because we had so many problems we bought another one to see if they all the same. Unfortunately thay are, so it wasn't isolated problem of 1 bad camera. We still keep them only because we also have 4 cameras connected by WiFi to a recording hard drive which surprisingly work well. That's the only thing keeping us connected to Swann.

Camera was fairly easy to set up. The viewing angle is very wide which gives a decent quality image. The only issue is the connectivity. It constantly loses connection. Normally every few days. The only way to reconnect it, is to remove it and start from scratch. Not practical at all I've got a good internet connection speed with the camera sat next to the router so I know it's not my WiFi and I'm connected to a 2.4ghz WiFi as per the instructions.

Works very well, the only cons I see so far is the battery lasts only few weeks, not even close to quoted 6 months. But very easy to swap with the spare one if the camera installed not too high.

The camera is working great. The problem is, would like to be able to have option to turn off the circle of night lights. We have the camera inside, behind a glass window and all the light reflects to prevent anything being caught on camera. My other brand that was replaced had the option to not use the lights , especially when there is an outside yard light that is on dusk to dawn.

Love this wifi enabled security cam. Motion detection will alert me and snap a video of detection. It has only taped me arriving home when I forgot to disable. One time purchase is best and if intruder happens to be in the house you can call police. No endless monthly surveillance companies or fees doing the same. Take your home security into your own hands. Bought this device at Lowe's on sale for $40. Great purchase
