Why settle for less when you can power your larger sensor cameras and on-board accessories efficiently with the EVO DSMC2 to 3-Stud Gold-Mount  This advanced power solution is designed to handle the increased power consumption of high-performance cameras, reducing the need for frequent battery exchanges during production. The EVO DSMC2 to 3-Stud Gold-Mount comes equipped with a robust 29wh built-in battery pack, capable of handling an impressive 15A draw for 2 minutes multiple times. This provides ample time for a battery swap, significantly reducing downtime. Beyond its backup function, the EVO also features a 'boost' or battery assist function. This comes into play should your on-board pack be unable to handle the startup current necessary, ensuring smooth operation at all times. The EVO DSMC2 to 3-Stud Gold-Mount incorporates a 4-cell Lithium Ion cartridge, strategically situated between the EVO camera attachment and front battery mount plate. This cartridge is designed to meet the power consumption needs of your equipment, and its replaceable system ensures future functionality even when the cartridge's battery cells start to decline. To keep you informed, the EVO features a backlit LCD that monitors the power source, backup battery status, and the current load your camera system is consuming. For enhanced power distribution, the EVO comes standard with two powertaps and the EVO-MOD24 power module. This module offers a variety of outputs including two 2-pin Lemo, one 24v 3-pin Fischer, and USB, along with a DC input. These outputs are mechanically engineered to not obstruct connections on a RED DSMC2 base expander. The EVO-DSMC2-G has a direct connection to the RED DSMC2 and is designed to fit the camera's form factor for seamless mounting. The battery mount for this model is a 3-stud design. The EVO's internal battery charges from battery packs, not standard bay chargers. Once you connect a new battery pack to the EVO to power your camera, it will also charge the EVO back up for the next time your battery dies. Alternatively, you can charge it without being connected to a device by simply attaching a battery.
