Good, fast charger, but test functions don't work with older batteries
I'm now on my 3rd one of these chargers. The first made a loud whistling noise. The second smelled of burning. The third works well. Despite the initial quality problems, this is a great charger and the ability to test a battery's health is quite valuable. However, it is not at all clear that this function only currently works with the newer digital batteries (i.e. the Hypercore ones). The more basic Switronix batteries and batteries from other brands do not work. While this would otherwise be a 5 star product, I'm deducting 1 star for the quality problems and another because the battery compatibility issues should be made clear in the product description (on the manufacturer's site too). I should not have to call support after I buy it to discover this.
