Because of its innovative design and high capacity, the Hypercore Prime Gold Mount 190Wh 2-Part Travel Safe 3-Stud Hi-Draw Li-Ion Battery, 14.8V, stands as a remarkable addition to the Hypercore lineup. This battery solution employs a unique 2-part system that not only offers a higher capacity but also ensures it is air travel friendly, adhering to IATA, ICAO, and UN regulations without any restrictions. The Hypercore Prime has been completely redesigned to provide a solution that exceeds 98Wh, making it one of the most comprehensive battery offerings in the electronics market today. It is capable of sustaining larger power draws, making it an ideal power source for high-end digital cinema cameras such as the Arri Alexa, Amira, Epic, Sony F65, and Phantom. This battery features a high-voltage design that, when paired with the Hypercine, can offer a charge capacity of up to 190Wh. This higher charge voltage allows for a wider discharge cycle range and extended run times. When four Prime packs are installed on the Hypercine, it delivers a whopping 760Wh of air travel friendly, Li-Ion power. The Hypercore Prime's 2-part design has been scaled vertically to distribute weight evenly across the battery mount, reducing depth by half an inch compared to the older Hypercore 190 design. This new design also includes a large backlit runtime LCD on the front and an LED grid that wraps around to the front of the battery, providing charge status visibility from afar. Available in both V-mount and 3-mounts, the Prime includes two integrated, unregulated P-tap connections on the battery, allowing you to power any 12-16.8vdc device. It also features a USB output for convenient mobile device charging. The Hypercore Prime is compatible with any charger within the Core SWX charger lineup, making it one of the most cross-platform, charger-compatible batteries in the industry. As part of Core SWX's transition to the Hypercore "Gold" series, this 3-stud (Gold) mount offering is 100% compatible with Anton/Bauer chargers firmware V3.6 and up.

I ordered this kit, and out of the box it was nothing but issues. I let them fully charge over night, pulled one off the charge and the indicator lights didn't work and it didn't give the time remaining read out. 

The other seemed to be fine, until I put it on our Red. With a full charge, it powered the camera for approximately 3 minutes then abruptly shut down and proceeded to try a power cycle, which didn't sound good for the Red. 

I used one of my other Core 98wh batteries immediately after and it worked fine. 

Good concept, horrible execution.
