While the PowerBase Edge Link 70Wh 14.8V V-Mount Lithium-Ion Battery Pack is a versatile power solution for your Blackmagic Design Pocket 4K, 6K, and 6K Pro cameras, it's more than just a battery pack. This kit includes a PTC-BMPC4 cable and a PB70C15US p-tap charger, ensuring your camera is always ready to capture the perfect shot.

Known as the "Swiss Army Knives" of battery packs, the PowerBase Edge series offers multiple uses. It can function as a standard v-mount pack, an under-camera mounted small-form cine pack, or even be mounted under a handheld gimbal. With a 7.4v port for most mirrorless camera power demands, two USB 5v outputs, and two 14v powertap outputs, it covers nearly all video production powering applications.

The PowerBase Edge Link's unique linking feature allows you to connect packs together for parallel power. This means that two packs can provide a whopping 140wh of power when mounted on the back of the V-mount camera. The linking connections are strategically placed under the battery pack's quick release plate to protect against accidental damage.

Compared to small form cine and mirrorless camera battery packs, the PowerBase Edge Link can provide up to 8x the power. This means extended operational runtime on a Sony Alpha, BMD Pocket, RED Komodo, or Panasonic GH camera, making it ideal for all-day shoots.

The Edge Link is equipped with an updated dovetail style quick release plate for robust mounting. It has a 1/4-20 thread to attach under most cameras and a 1/4-20 receptacle on the opposing side for tripod mounting. The quick release plate can also be used to attach the pack to any part of a camera cage's side, top, or anywhere with a 1/4-20 thread.

The Edge Link also features a USB-C PD port capable of detecting the connected device to deliver the appropriate power for fast charging. This ensures your devices are charged quickly without risking damage to their circuitry.

Like all CoreSWX batteries, the Powerbase Edge has an integrated p-tap (powertap/dtap) connector on the side of the battery, allowing you to power any 12vdc device from this port. Additionally, it includes a "Smart Tap," a (powertap/dtap) which will pull all battery data.

The Powerbase Edge Link is compatible with all CoreSWX v-mount battery chargers, as well as other manufacturers' v-mount chargers such as Sony, RED, and IDX. It can also be charged via the p-tap with the included PB70C15 charger.

After 7 days of inactivity, the pack shuts down to preserve power. To wake it up, simply put your pack to charge or press the reset button in between the terminals on the power tap. All CoreSWX batteries that are travel safe have an Air Compliant label, making your travel experience as smooth as possible.
