I am very pleased with the performance of the unit itself. So far it has performed flawlessly. Having said that the documentation regarding system requirements and software was lacking. I intended to use the included stand alone executable to operate the filter wheel, but found it does not work with Win 7. Fortunately, a compatible program is available at the Starlight Express web site for download, and it works well. I was a little disappointed nothing was included in the package that instructs the user where to go to get compatible software. Most users I know have long since upgraded from Windows XP since Microsoft has ceased to support it. If Starlight Express cannot update the included CD, there should at least be a slip of paper included in the package telling users of Win 7, 8 and 10 where to get a compatible program. If not for that I would have given it a five star rating.
