I purchased this to use on my Sony 16-35mm GM. It came in a very nice case and a cloth (muy bueno). Here?s the thing, past 5 stops of ND there was heavy vignetting and discoloration on the edges. Now vignettes are expecting when using an ND filter on a wide angle lens, but there was green/blue and yellow/green discoloration as well which made the image unusable and unable to be saved through post processing. I returned this product. If you?d like a different (underrated) alternative, I recommend Nisi ND filters.

I found that the character of the filter was clear and clean. My issue was that it didn't go all the way to 8.5 stops before the image became altered with a dark pattern. It was maybe good to around 6 stops. I bought this instead of several ND filters. I returned it, and will be going back to that plan.

Overall really great variable ND filter, though it does vignette at the higher stops. Would recommend this over any other variable ND

Nice quality ND Filter with flexibility for multiple lenses with the different adaptors. Just wish they weren't so expensive, but this is a nice addition overall.

I haven't had a chance to fully test this filter but so far I am very pleased. It works very well up to seven stops then you can hardly see through the viewfinder. It is well made and being able to dial in the number of f/stops is very handy. I will do more testing to determine if it has any effect on lens quality.

Great built quality overall. Useable range is between 1-8 stops for a 50mm lens on a full frame. When used with the 25mm lens, is around 7 stops. Go beyond 7 stops, the X pattern becomes too obvious.
