This is an awesome tool for adding some movement to your timelapses. Small enough to fit into any bag, and will not be a nuisance to carry around. Awesome and highly recommend.

I had been looking to up my megapixel game and researching and trying to figure out the route I wanted to go. I ended up finding and going with this Syrp pan/tilt kit to do large multi-row panoramas. I received the kit and immediately started playing with it. My 1st experience with it took some time to get used to and set up of the start and end points. I spent about an hour or so setting up and testing the setup before using it for my 1st sunset panorama. (Pictured) It took some getting used to, but I finally got it. a 4x3 grid panorama of the sunset. Unfortunately the cable provided did not trigger my Nikon Z6, so I have to manually press the shutter for each image. I plan on doing more research to try and find a usb cable that will. Or see if there's a setting on the camera that might be blocking it. On my 2nd outing, I went to a nearby ranch to photograph a multi row panorama of the Milkyway. (pictured) It was about 35 degrees with a COLD light breeze. On this trip, the app kept crashing everytime I would change a start/end point. It was frustrating, closing and reconnecting the minis everytime. I finally got my points set and went on about capturing my pano. Over all, this kit is extremely helpful, giving you the flexibility and ease of evenly overlapping each image captured to stitch in post. I'm hoping it was a fluke with the app crashing on my 2nd outing, but I will continue using this kit to try and make it a smoother experience as I work with it more. If you get it, make sure you take plenty of time to play around with it and see how it operates with your equipment.

If you are using Sony mirrorless models, genie mini 2 is quite valuable for you, since it will support controlling the exposure of your camera through USB-C cable during some future updates. This feature can make holy grails time-lapses easier. I am an astrophotographer using Canon models. I purchased two genie mini 2, forming a pan-tilt kit for panoramas and time-lapses of the Milky Way. Although the camera control function is absent on my camera, I still believe genie mini 2 is worth this price.
