I am sure this cable works well, but be cautioned that it is not the correct cable for the newer Genie 2 units. It is designed for the older Genie 1 and original Genie units. The new Genie 2?s use a 2.5mm plug. This one is a 3.5mm

The sync cable worked well with my 2 mini's and I did not notice any sync issues when the two mini's when they were connected through the app. When testing both the pan and tilt function both of the mini's responded well. I do not have the Genie so I cannot comment on the connection with the sync cable and the mini's and Genie.
