Agood product that is priced well

I have used Speedotron Products for 25 years. They are the workhorses of the industry. They arn't the fanciest or prettiest, but they take a lickin and keep on tickin. I use Brown line and Black line. We use them on location and in the studio. I also use Broncolor and Balcar strobes. While the Broncolor offer more controls, they are much more expensive to purchase and maintain. I find the Balcar strobes to be a little more fragile. I would recommend Speedotron to photographers starting a career.

About Speedotron Flashtube

This flashtube is UV-Coated, or UV-Corrected. UV flashtubes have a yellow appearance, and they counteract the excess blue 5700 Degree or higher output of non-UVcoated flashtubes. UV Coating lowers the color temperature to 5500 Degree, which is the color of noon daylight on a clear day.
