Just received my bag in the mail today, and luckily it was raining, so I got to test it out the proper way: load it with my usual gear and play in the rain! Loaded up my laptop in it's sleeve, a couple standard notebooks, and my pens, tools, water bottle, etc. After hearing elsewhere that this bag was decently water resistant, and comfortable for bicycle rides, I was ready to test it out. Timbuk2 has a reputation for quality products, and I wasn't disappointed. All my gear stayed dry, and I stayed comfortable.The bag didn't shift around at all. I'd definitely buy a Timbuk2 bag again, although I wish the Swig wasn't discontinued.

It is a very nice bag but the model I received must have been an older version. It does not have the ventilated back padding or the sternum straps

I'm a fan of pockets and there's enough in this bag to keep me happy. I can travel with my laptop, wacom, chargers, snacks, water bottle, notebooks and gadgets all in separate compartments and still have space. Even when this bag is heavy it's still 10x more comfortable then a messenger style bag. Super happy with this bag.

I like this bag because it is a low cost (I bought it on sale) lightweight and low profile bag. It holds my 14" laptop, and whatever paper documents (folders, magazines, books) I might want to carry. It has pockets/dividers for pens/notepads etc. and a water bottle/umbrella. It's not too big which I like because I can't cram too much stuff in it. This is a pretty light duty bag so if you are looking for a bag you can load up with stuff and hike around with all day, this is not your bag. If you want a light weight bag that you can carry your laptop and a few other items around with, this is a good bag.
