The filter ring is composed from high-grade 2.5mm aluminum screw thread to prevent binding to the lens and providing a secure mount for other accessories.The Planet U combines light shielding grooves on the inside of the filter with a matted charcoal based coat on the outside to provide high transmittance and low reflectivity for photographers.
