The Superstar Classic Maple 7-Piece Shell Kit features a stylish dark indigo burst finish, adding a unique aesthetic touch to your performance. The kit includes a 18"x22" bass drum, 7"x8", 8"x10" and 9"x12" tom toms, 12"x14" and 14"x16" floor toms, and a 6.5"x14" snare drum, providing a versatile range of sounds for any musical genre.
The shells are crafted from 100% maple, chosen for its rich resonance and powerful character. The meticulous attention to shell molding and bearing edge shape ensures that these drums deliver a sound that is unmatched in its class. The kit comes equipped with "Power Craft II" drum heads, which offer a great sound practically right out of the box, and ring mufflers on the bass drum heads eliminate the need for extra internal muffling.
The kit features the classic TAMA T-shape badge and streamlined low-mass single lugs, reminiscent of the simpler state of art of the 70's. The newly designed low-mass lugs reduce the surface area on the shell, enhancing shell resonance for a fuller sound.
The ingenious Star-Mount system provides support at four points on the batter side hoop of a drum, increasing the resonance of the drums. The bracket eye-bolts slide to the left and right, allowing for easy positioning and maximum flexibility, even when setting up two toms close to each other.
