The CP200-BK & CP200-TS Panels from Tangent belong to the CP200 family of modular panels, a series designed to provide a mix-and-match selection of various panel control functions to meet the exact needs of your setup. This unit is a combination package that includes a CP200-BK Trackerball/Knob panel and a CP200-TS Transport/Selection panel.
The CP200-BK is intended for use with primary color grading. It offers (3) knobs to control parameters such as pan/scan or basic secondary grading controls. Its (3) trackerballs can be used to control lift, gamma and gain grading parameters. This configuration provides a full (9) axes of simultaneous control that is impossible to achieve with a mouse or pen & tablet. Above each of the trackerballs the unit features (5) keys that offers master and differentials resets, as well as application-specific functions. The area below the display includes (3) rotary controls. The interface includes a single angled 40 x 2 character VFD display at the top of the panel to facilitate its use and management. The panel can be used as a standalone unit, or sunk into a desktop using its built-in mounting lip.
The CP200-TS is specifically intended to provide a familiar transport layout for controlling VTR-like source and record decks. The panel features a rotary encoder with a large dial for jog & shuttle functions. The dial also includes an illuminated stop and left-and-right indicators to provide status feedback for the control. A numerical keypad is included for operations such as time-code entry and a set of custom-label keys allows you to manage typical grading and editing functions. The interface includes a single angled 40 x 2 character VFD display at the top of the panel to facilitate its use and management. The panel can be used as a standalone unit, or sunk into a desktop using its built-in mounting lip.
