Tripod works great. Only problem is the bottom unscrews itself and pops off. It's still an okay tri-pod. Recommend going for a better options.

I use these tripods in my environmental business to hold sampling tubes. They are strong and easy to use.

Amazing quality and very sturdy. Crazy good value. I bought these initially for timing lights at a car autocross event but after seeing how good they are use they for my heavy lense DLSR camera.

Better than the cheapest tripod possible, but not by much. It's a major hassle to level thanks to that landscape/portrait switch that sits ABOVE the bubble. Sounds good on paper, but in practice it's just one more thing to mess up your shots. My advice would be to just fork over enough money for a good tripod and save yourself the hassle

I misplaced my previous tripod, so I bought another copy of the same model. It's a nice design for simple setups.

I didn't use at all the Takama 66" 3 Section Tripod with 3 Way Head as well as the majority of the kit that unfortunately I bought in Adorama. All I sent back, in May 3, 2021, by the UPS, paid $30.91, to your NJ address using two native boxes filled with all items that I got from you including a tripod Takama. I hope that you will return to me money that I spent on your kit and on returning through UPS. The reason of returning is the bad quality of pictures produced by the camera Sony Alfa 6400 which I repeatedly tested. During some years I've had a Sony Alfa 6000 but I lost it at the street. It was a tragedy to me because it is remarkable device with which I made hundred pictures and more than 170 videos presented at my YouTube channel Vasili Sha. The shortcoming of A6000 is a bad quality of registered sound and absent of the option to use an outside microphone. I believe my great mistake is my trust to the ad that Sony Alfa 6400 is the better than the Sony Alfa 6000. All best!

For the price its a good backup for lighting or a quick shoot in daylight with a high shutter speed. Its not going to do the job for long exposure and not a replacement for a high quality tripod though.

We are very pleased with the video camera bundle we purchased and we are excited to use in our educational work with at-risk high school students via graduations, testimonials, student events, etc.

It is an inexpensive tripod to hold steady a small camera. Very low cost so mostly plastic. For the price it works.

This seems to be well constructed, holds my Sony A6400 with 17-70 Tamron lens with ease. Legs adjust easily, don’t know if I would take it on a 5 mile hike since it’s not very light but guess it’s better to be sturdy then light. All in all I’m happy with my purchase.

It's what it's described. It's definitely a starter. It's nice to have with a few tripod options. This is really light wgt and will do what you need it to do. It does have a level bubble scale which is nice to have. It's pretty easy to set up, break down. Pls note that this will hold up to 6lbs.

All good quality. It was an opened box that had been tapped shut and came with one tightening wheel that had a knob broken on it. Besides that it feels solid so far. I haven't used it very much.

Ended up purchasing my new Canon 90d body through adorama specifically for this tripod. I love the handle. It's been great so far!

This tripod is very nice. It is sturdy and flexible. There are two levels built into the tripod as well, which is handy. The only downside is the bag it comes in is very cheap and tore on day one.

For the price you really can't beat it, although I am a little leery of putting my Nikon P1000 on top of if. I probably will order a better one and give this one to my grandchild.

I was expecting a smaller tripod. The head was really big and the plastic looks cheap up close. But it looks decent from afar though. The included bag had some shine which makes it look cheap as well. The bag’s inside also kinda looked used. But for the price and my purpose this should serve me well. (I’ll only use it with my phone, I don’t have a dslr but I think it would be able to handle one) Overall, I’m satisfied with the item.

I bought this tripod in an emergency when mine broke. I needed one right away. I wasn't going to drop hundreds of dollars on a new one without doing some research. So I grabbed the cheapest one I could find. I just needed it to hold up for a few hours. After using it that day, I was shocked that it was a really great tripod considering how affordable it was. It's super light weight, yet it is very sturdy. I've used it for long exposure shots, I never have any blurring issues from movement, even when it's windy. I certainly not going replace a high end carbon fiber tripod. But it's my go to for everyday use, especially if I have to travel with it. I highly recommend it.

For the price, it has nearly all features of tripods 20x more expensive. Light weight for hiking, not overly concerned if I do something stupid and destroy it. Being mindful that it built for camera/lens under 10ibs, it could last a lifetime. Depending on how I use it, this could prove an exceptional value.

For a item included in a package it is very satisfactory for stills. It does not have a dampening head for smooth controlled motion, but perhaps my camera, Panasonic FZ2500, will compensate. Since I own a fine upscale tripod made for video, video dampening is not a huge concern. Weight is very reasonable, making it a great to take hiking. It seems well made.

Came in quickly. Exactly as described. It's even bigger (when extended) then I expected.
The Takama 58" 3 Section Tripod with 3 Way Head is designed for stability and portability in a incredibly lightweight package, making it the ideal value support system for on-the-go assignments with payloads of less than 6 lbs. The 3-tiered extendable leg and center column system reaches a full height of 58.0" and features sturdy self-leveling rubber feet, large, easy to set flip-lever locks, and a torsion resistant center spread brace for added support. The geared center column gives the advantage of controlling height for precise shots without readjusting the tripod legs. There is even a convenient tote handle and a center hook to suspend a weight to stabilize the tripod when necessary. The 3-way pan/tilt/flip head is integrated to the body of the TAKP3H58 system. Tilt angle is controlled by a textured pan handle and the horizontal pan platform provides a 360 degree range of smooth motion. Both rotation axis's have separate adjustment with independent locking. The whole head assembly can be quickly flipped to a 90 degree position for vertical shots. The exclusive easy-lock quick release plate allows for secure placement of a camera. Besides the standard 1/4"x20 mounting screw, a registration pin acts as a anti-twist lock for video cameras, and the QR is graced with a rubberized mounting surface for extra vibration protection. The bubble level is located on the leg collar for leveling in any situation.
The TAKAMA family of camera supports are an excellent collection of value packed gear for the growing photographer. All feature sleek and slender leg design with stabile stance, smooth motion pan head, fast to level and balance, easy to pick up and take along, go anywhere, anytime and has a handsome profile to boot. Take TAKAMA.
