Very good video tripod for the price, smooth fluid head for panning. Very lightweight, easy to carry. Nice roomy carry bag. Could use a hook for adding weights. Taller than a Magnus. Have some trouble with the quick release plate, locking it down with the camera attached is annoying. I really liked this tripod but it broke after 6 months. Opened the lock to extend the legs and one lower leg section slid off with small parts falling out.

Very nice Takama 3 section video tripod. I bought this for my Bushnell spotting scope (which is 5lbs) and it is perfect for what I need it for, stable and secure. This would do well for other things that require a heavier load. This Takama is rated for 11lbs. Adorama packed it well and shipped it fast. Thank you!

Great tripod for the money. I took away a star because build quality is lacking a little. I broke the crank handle the second time I used it. However, for the money, it would be very hard to beat. Besides, I didn?t use the little crank handle anyway so it doesn?t really affect how I use it.

I put together, on my Canon M50 (bought from Adorama), the EF Mount and then I put on the Canon kit lens 75 to 300 mm, the heaviest lens I have to test out the supporting of a heavy weight. I noted that the head and tripod are one, a perfect marriage of the two parts, giving the tripod with camcorder/camera mounted more stability. Starting with the lower legs, one at a time I un-flipped the lock and slid out the limb. Smooth as all getout, great. self-lock quick release plate onto the video head was easy and securely locked into place, no wiggle or looseness. I love the geared center column, I cranked it up to where I wanted. The panning is smooth and quiet as is the tilt angle. Case holds all nicely. I really like this tripod. Website pictures are absolutely accurate in depicting the tripod. A great value for the money. I highly recommend it.

I love this tripod! Initially I received this tripod included with a camcorder I purchased from Adorama. Upon opening it I thought someone had made a mistake and given me a better tripod than I ordered! For me this is a first-rate tripod. Because of that I went ahead and purchased another one for two camera filming. I love it and would highly recommend it! Thank You!

Tall reach, but not too sturdy. It's NOT a pro level tripod, and as such, you'll get some shake, especially in the wind. So while the reach/height is NICE, the sturdiness is a little lacking. However, with the new mirrorless cameras stabilization systems, it just might work with them, better than with DSLRs or SLRs. Thus 4-stars.

This is a very well made and sturdy tripod...an excellent value! It does have a 10 lb limit so make sure you know your camera and accessory weight.

This tripod has a lot of features I like. It has an eyedrop level which is helpful when I'm doing sunsets at the beach. The legs are sturdy and the feet rotate to keep it level on slightly uneven surfaces. All the motions are smooth and easy and it never feels too tight or loose. It's meant mainly for video but I use it for still photography and it works great. It's stable enough that I don't need a shutter release to keep my camera still even using a 400mm lens. I also like the way the camera mounts on a removable mount. Only two flaws and one of them is because of my camera; I can't remove the SD card while the camera in on the mount but that's because my Rebel T100 takes the SD card from the bottom...this wouldn't be an issue for a camera that takes it from the side. Also, the stitching on the carrying bag isn't too strong; only had mine for two weeks and it already has a small tear. Other than that, this is a great tripod for the money.
