The VX 8M is a full range Dual Concentric loudspeaker from TANNOY, providing a compact, yet punchy and sonically vibrant solution for small-to-medium scale performance sound reinforcement. With a controlled 90 degree dispersion for optimum coverage and forward gain, it is a powerful and versatile performer for a wide range of applications.

The VX 8M has been designed to offer a greater degree of flexibility, while maintaining the power and sonic clarity users have come to expect from TANNOY's VX Series range. The asymmetrical cabinet features 40 and 60 degree side angles and includes a robust steel grille, making the VX 8M ideal for use as a dedicated floor monitor, with the 8" driver providing exceptional vocal monitoring clarity.

The enclosure's integrated pole mount socket and optional vertical yoke make it a flexible choice for a range of usage and mounting options. Targeted at small and medium sized applications such as corporate events, house of worship, performance spaces and portable PA, the new VX 8M can combine with any TANNOY loudspeaker or subwoofers from the VX and VSX ranges to offer clear, uniform sound no matter what.

Dual Concentric Driver
The 520-Watt 200 mm (8") version of TANNOY's exclusive point source VX Series loudspeakers, VX 8M's constant directivity Dual Concentric drive unit technology ensures high power output with high sensitivity and exceptional efficiency. VX 8M delivers precise 90 deg. dispersion for optimum coverage, exceptional forward gain plus the added benefit of improved low-mid extension from the twin driver configuration.

Performance Applications
VX 8M's dual 60 deg. and 40 deg. wedge angle design enclosure design provides a multitude of placement options including: floor monitor, small scale FOH, delay and stage front fill deployment and more. A 35 mm pole mount socket is provided for placement atop a subwoofer or speaker stands in small-scale portable PA applications.

An extensive range of optional VX 8M high performance steel mounting hardware (available separately) includes a horizontal yoke bracket and Omni mount spaced inserts for wall and ceiling installation and items to facilitate pole-mounting. All mounting hardware has been tested and certified for a greater than 5:1 safety ratio - giving installers complete peace of mind.

Construction
Finished in a hard wearing semi matt black paint, the vented and internally braced cabinet is constructed from 15 mm (5/8") plywood - and includes a rugged powder coated perforated steel mesh grille. Integrip handles ergonomically integrated into the top and bottom of cabinet make for easy transport. The connection plate carries Neutrik speakON NL4 for input and link connections to additional enclosures. VX 8M loudspeakers are optimized for use with LAB GRUPPEN amplifiers or LAKE LM Series controllers.
