Additionally, it holds UL 1480 certification for fire-protected signaling systems and UL 2043 certification for air-handling spaces, ensuring compliance with stringent safety standards.The CVS 401 features a robust design, incorporating a 100 mm (4.00") polypropylene full-range driver and a 0.75" ferrofluid-cooled soft dome high-frequency driver. These components are housed in a UV and weather-resistant UL 94-V0 and 94-5VB ABS front, complemented by a plated steel fire can enclosure. The loudspeaker is further protected by a powder-coated aluminum mesh grille, which also adds an aesthetic touch. The mineral-loaded polypropylene cone material and butyl rubber surround contribute to the speaker's durability and long-term reliability, making it a sound investment for any installation.Installation is made simple with the CVS 401's comprehensive package. It includes an integral zinc-plated steel back can with a recessed termination box, designed to meet the majority of installation requirements. The semi-matt white finish allows the speaker to blend seamlessly into any environment. The removable locking connector with screw terminals ensures secure wire termination and offers a "loop through" facility. For fire-rated cabling, a steel cover and strain relief clamping mechanism are provided. Quick and easy installation is facilitated by security toggle clamps, two tile support rails, and one C-ring, all included in the package. An optional plaster (mud) ring is available for additional installation needs.Enhancing its versatility, the CVS 401 is equipped with a custom-designed low insertion loss 25 W line transformer and an easily accessible tapping switch, ensuring pristine audio performance across various settings.
