The Turnstile Audio Platform Series TAP500 Broadcast Microphone is optimized for broadcasting, podcasting, and voice recording, giving you a clean and natural sound. The TAP500 is the ideal microphone for podcasting, broadcast, or voice recording. The microphone's hyper-cardioid polar pattern is designed to greatly reduce the amount of background noise on the sides of the mic, plus the sound behind the microphone, so you just pick up what is in front of the TAP500.

Turnstile Audio designed the TAP500 with many thoughtful features to give you the cleanest and most natural sound possible. Feel like you’re in the room with the person speaking, as the microphone gives you a more intimate sound. The TAP500’s capsule design removes unwanted noise and isolates your sound, which is especially helpful when you have multiple microphone set-ups or speakers in the same room. We included a mid-range boost switch that helps with low talkers and emphasizes vocal clarity in the frequency 6 kHz to 10 kHz range. The opposite holds true for the low-cut switch, which helps control booming voices and reduces rumble and rustling, allowing you to have more control over tone.Thoughtful Design That Elevates Your Audio

Other accessories include a shock mount which enhances sonic clarity by isolating the microphone from the mic stand, perfect when you need to reposition the microphone on the fly. The TAP500 is also a hyper-cardioid dynamic microphone that does not require the use of external power, such as 48v phantom power.
