I have used this Targus backpack almost every day for 6 years in and out of pickup and airplanes and it's in great shape. A few battle scars but every zipper works and every strap is intact. Great backpack!

I bought this backpack to replace a >10-year-old previous Targus backpack. I like the fact that the water-bottle holder fits a normal size reusable water bottle. There are tons of pockets. I don't know that I will use the fold flat feature, but that pocket is good for storing papers and notebooks. The "main" compartment (not the laptop one) is pretty wide at the bottom so I can put my toiletry kit there when I travel and put snacks on top of it. I like the small zippered compartment inside the outermost pouch for keeping my electronic paraphernalia and the two small external pouches. The backpack seems comfortable and can slide on top of a rolling suitcase (though it is a little heavy on a rollaboard). It seems pretty robust so we'll see how it holds up.

I bought this backpack for my son to use in high school, hoping it would be durable and last the school year. Unfortunately, after only about two months of use, the bottom four corners became rubbed and torn. I expected a higher-quality product, but it didn't hold up any better than cheaper alternatives. When I contacted customer service, they told me I could return the backpack at my own cost, and they would send a replacement. That means I'd have to spend even more money on something it won't last. Overall, I'm very disappointed with both the product's durability and the company's return policy. I wouldn't recommend this product.

This is my second Targus backpack. My first one was purchased in 2013 and I used it until it completely fell apart. It saw me through my first go round of college, travel, moving multiple times, and my first corporate job in 2024. I knew when it came time to buy another bag I would get a Targus. Unfortunately, I didn't. I settled for another brand, and it broke within 5 months and then they couldn't honor their warranty, a mistake that won't happen again! I knew I wanted this one as I love green (most gaming laptop backpacks are all red accents) and I have a massive personal gaming laptop (MSI GE76 Raider). I've been using this backpack solid for a month for work and I'm so happy. Feels great, it almost has too much storage and organization! It does fit the gaming laptop mentioned, but I will add that it is a 17" with another inch of just stuff in the back, so around an inch or so it does not get zipped over. That is NOT the backpack's issue and I don't mind as I baby my tech regardless. It washed well in the washer and dryer. It's comfy on my back. My work laptop is a 14", but it feels safe having the extra space. I do hope this lasts me another 11 years! **I did purchase this one gently used off of Poshmark, if you don't want to do that, I do feel that the full price is worth it.

I was extremely impressed with how customer service handles a situation related to a delivery made by Purolator however it was my error, but Targus customer quickly focused on me (the customers) and made sure I was satisfied. Great customer service

I was a huge fan of Targus products especially LAPTOP BACKPACK'S. Targus return policy and customer support is worst and they will tell you only when you question them, there are many policies hidden. Targus won't pay for return shipping and charged shipping cost to purchase product on their website. These are all not transparent they only come in picture when you return the product. PLEASE DONOT PURCHASR ON TARGUS WEBSITE.

Great backpack - my son used to have shoulder problems carrying his laptop all day at school. Since getting this bag he hasn't complained of shoulder pain at all. The bag is really well made. Feels sturdy. Very happy.

I've had this backpack for nine years. It has been through college and grad school with me, traveled to several countries, and all over the US. It has served as my sole luggage for 9 day trips, and a simple personal item on airplanes. It has undergone so much abuse being overstuffed with textbooks and clothes, and through it all, it has been exactly what I needed. Love the various spacious compartments, the water bottle holder, and the laptop sleeve. After all this time, the backpack is ready to be retired, but I am so grateful for all it went through for me.

My previous Targus bag looked amazing! Everything about it said professional and upscale. This bag? I have not used it yet. I tried it on and it does not fit right and seems a bit smaller than my previous nice bags. For now, I would likely not purchase it again and a part of me wish I could return it for something else. It is just supposed to be a functional/practical bag for regular work projects, but it does not look good so far.

I received this bag from my employer several years ago and have used it for everything since: commutes, shopping on a bike, few-day trips, formal work meetings, etc. I personally have not used the flip-back pocket when going through TSA but the bag is otherwise everything I'm looking for. It is a good mix of style and functionality with a nice clean look and plenty of space inside without being too bulky, and is durable to boot.

I got this bag back in collage over 10 years ago and its still going strong to this day and has been my daily driver, gone on holiday and camping! It is a bit scuffed in places from hard use and only in the last year have two of the rubber coatings on the zips come off. Not a single zipper has busted and I have overstuffed it many times, honestly never seen a bag of this quality before or since. If it ever decides to give up I will be replacing it with another right away!

I was given this backpack (with company branding) by my employer seven years ago, and it's still going strong. It's showing some minor wear from years of rough use, but the only thing that has outright failed on it is the plastic cable organizer thingy on the right shoulder strap (that came out during a particularly grueling three week work trip all over asia/oceania earlier this year). I've tried the more recent backpacks we have in stock (Targus Cyprus Hero, Targus Newport), and while they are both excellent bags, I keep digging this one out of the closet as it is the most perfect fit for my needs I have ever found. Unless someone at head office has a brainwave and offers us these again, I might have to shell out my own money for one when mine finally fails. Thankfully, going by how it's been so far, I still have a few more years of use out of mine!

The body design is neatly sewn and the bag itself is sturdy. But the thickness of foam to the actual backpack that hangs to the shoulder down to the waist has gone down in quality compared to the previous bags that I had.

This backpack is wonderfully made. It's has lots of compartments, very sturdy, and even has a cushioned back for comfort when carrying. I recommend this backpack for computers or whatever you might want to carry.

I was overcharged $11 the second time I tried purchasing because of an unknown issue that they canceled my first order. The backpack was received, and it is not looking as advertised. The back of the backpack looks as if the bag has been used fresh out of the box for at least two years. The sewing does not look and stand straight at all. I went ahead and tried returning, and as they don't provide free returns, I'd be charged $47 if I wanted to return, so I'm stuck with this garbage thanks to Targus's fair return policy.

The model I received doesn't have the checkpoint-friendly design to lay flat or the Trolley pass-through luggage as advertised. I returned the backpack but never got reimbursed.
