(Retired),Tenba Medium Messenger Bag, is one of the best Shoulder bags I've ever seen or used, Here's why; I mainly use Back packing Bags{Tamrac}x2 Small & Large, But I needed a shoulder bag for some local shooting, but still had to carry 2 Nikon Battery Grip camera's, Flash and a few acc's. Since this bag was on special sale, I got it, and am Very pleased. 1st ALL strap Clips & Catches are Metal, except for the 2 Tripod clips. It has a small strap for Quickly lifting the bag, and the Best shoulder strap, Curved to fit shoulder Properly and 3/4" thick firm Padding With Anti-slip Coating. Bag has 21 storage Pockets, and even a Key clip & IPod Pocket, See Photos for details..

the bag is a great bag, just thought it would hold more equipment. But overall satisfied with the purchase at a great price.

Since everyone seems to have their own working style, I don't think there is a perfect bag, but the construction and design of this bag are first rate.

LIKES: - Size: not too big or small. Perfect for someone with about 5 items (bodies/lenses/flash). - Seems reasonably robust. - Sturdy padded shoulder strap. - Adequate compartments. - Price: Finally, a fair price for a bag. DISLIKES:- - Prefer all compartments to have zippers, not velcro. OVERALL: Very Good bag for a fair price!

A great bag with tons of room and pockets. I use it for a Sony a6000 with several lenses, but it has plenty of room for a large DSLR as well.

Light, sturdy, lots of storage, weather resistant, carries gear well, gear seems lighter than with some other bags. I carry two camera bodies and 3 or more lenses easily. End pockets are convienient and have padding

This is a great bag for someone like myself who does a lot of motorsports photography. It allows me to carry two DSLRs with lens.

I had been searching for a bag for a Pentax 645Z medium format camera and most were just a little too small. This bag is nearly perfect. I can fit two lenses below the camera and still have room on the other side for accessories. I have a piece of 1 inch open cell foam I place inside the top flap when I'm concerned about padding. Four stars since one of the zipper pulls has come off a few times and the general quality of the bag, while very good, is not as good as best in class bags.

For me this turned out to be one of the most useful bags I own. It is a bag to shoot with, Easy fast access to camera and lens, nice extra large pockets on the outside let you carry more than just a water bottle. Well thought out, well made, takes abuse pretty well - I am not kind to camera bags and this one has seen it's share of snow, rain and sun. Used daily in any weather - overall a great value for me.

I have one body 4 lenses and a flash including a 150-600 and it all fits in this bag. It has so many pockets I'm not sure I've found them all. I access everything Through the zipper top. Awesome bag at an awesome price

I used the bag for the first time today. I had two camera bodies and 3 lens. The bag was comfortable to carry and I could adjust the inside pockets to fit my equipment comfortably. The shoulder strap stayed on my shoulder and it was so easy to carry.

Even though the Tenba Lightweight Messenger bag represents a well designed camera bag, this accessory arrived smaller (up to 1.5 inches for each of the W x L x H) than the listed measurements.

Nothing fancy, just does what it says really, really well. Nice deep compartments for gear. 4 stars instead of 5 because the ergonomics aren't great, and I found that the clips on the strap sometimes comes undone when I set the bag down and the tension eases. Not a huge deal, but it's noticeable and annoying.

The bag is strongly constructed and well-organized. There are spaces and pockets for almost everything I tend to carry with me on a day of shooting. Although it's a bit of a squeeze, I can even include my 10-ince tablet in an Otter case. The strap is comfortable, and I particularly like the fact that there's a strap I can slip over the extendable handle of a roller bag. I say nearly perfect, because if I use a motor drive on both camera bodies I have to take out one lens. If the bag were only an inch bigger in each dimension I wouldn't have to do that. Of course, I could have bought the large size in this bag, but that would be overkill for most of my purposes. I would definitely recommend this bag over bags of similar dimensions I've owned from other manufacturers.

Good size! Can quickly pull out my Canon T5i through the top zipper with or without the battery grip installed. This bag was recommended to me by a photographer friend and he was right! I was a little concerned by older reviews that identified problems with the carry handle and shoulder strap attachments. These problems must have been solved because the attachments on my bag are metal and seem to be well-made.

I carry 3-5 lenses in the bag with the camera on top usually. Dividers are thoughtfully designed to allow multiple configurations.

This is a well thought out bag. Plenty of accessible storage for phone, cards, filters and such. I love that a camera can be pulled from the top of the bag through the top zipper opening, without having to fully open the bag. Carries easily, with plenty of room for additional lenses.

Perfect size for my two Sony A6000 with four lens, filter set and accessories. Very comfortable shoulder strap. Large side pockets are wonderful.

This bag was a giant disappointment! I can see why they have it on sale. I have had Tenba bags before but this one just didn't cut it. Just like others reviews my metal hardware on the shoulder strap broke and it came flying off my shoulder and I had just got it.Tenba did replace in a couple of days...I used a Domke for years and this just doesn't have enough outside, accessible usable pockets. It's nice to have somewhere to put your keys etc. and there isn't anywhere handy. also do not believe it will hold everything it says here; if you did hold two DSLR's they would have to be without lenses and that is a pain

Great flexible bag design. It's very deep and holds long lenses. Material quality is good, except for the strap clips. The shoulder strap clip was already broken when I received the bag. Tenba quickly replaced that strap. So I wrote that defect off as a fluke. But now the short handle strap clip has broken. Luckily I caught the bag before it crashed to the ground. This bag has had only light use and two strap failures in 10 months is a little more than a fluke. I have little confidence that the straps will actually stay attached to the bag.

Great Design, Love the top zipper quick access. The lightest bag I've ever carried. I would love if they made the shoulder padding thicker/longer along the strap to make it more comfortable. But because of the light weight of the bag you can still survive with it.

This bag is too big to hang around your neck for a long period of time; yet, it's too small to hold all the gear I want to bring at times. Still, I'll use it when I need a middle-sized bag for certain situations.

This is the best camera bag I've ever had. It is extremely well designed; they REALLY thought about how a professional photographer uses their bag. It is lightweight, very comfortable to carry, and has loads of pockets for organizing everything. On top of that the zipper across the top, that gives easy access to the main compartment is brilliant. It allows you to get in and out of the bag quickly, without opening the flap, and without everyone around you seeing what's in your bag. And the detachable short strap coms in handy as well. This is now my go-to bag whenever I'm out on a shoot. I LOVE it, and cannot recommend it highly enough!

This camera bag is brilliantly thought out, down to the smallest detail. Tenba really thought about what a working professional needs. The zipper in the top that allows you access to you camera without fully opening the top and giving everyone a full view of what you're carrying. It has all kinds of zippered pockets. And its very lightweight. I carried it last week, when shooting an event with a Hasselblad, and it was very comfortable and easy to work with.

Lightweight
The Messenger Camera Bag weighs only 2.5 pounds with the padded photo insert included, and 1.6 pounds without the insert. This is 1 to 2 pounds lighter than most competing bags in this size.
Stealth
It doesn't look like a traditional camera bag, which is by far the most requested feature from security-conscious photographers.
Quick Access
A zipper in the top cover lets you move camera gear in and out of the bag without having to open up the front flap. This is an added security benefit because it allows a photographer to remove equipment without letting bystanders see all of the equipment inside.
Durability and Weather Resistance
The exterior is made from military-grade 1000 Denier weatherproof-coated nylon, and the interior is ripstop nylon. In addition, there is a layer of special waterproof material on the bottom of the bag for protection if the bag is put down on a wet surface. As with the current Messenger, the Camera Bag can be machine washed in cold water (and line dried) when needed.
Top Quality Hardware
YKK zippers and Duraflex clips. There is no better hardware available at any price.
Versatility and Organization
The Camera Bag can be used with the included padded photo insert for maximum protection, or the insert can be removed to make a lighter, more body-hugging bag. And there are 20 pockets and storage spaces to keep small accessories organized.
Capacity
1-2 D/SLR bodies, 3-5 lenses, flash and accessories.
The Tenba Messenger Camera Bag is classic, fast-moving, and body hugging a design preferred by the world's best photojournalists for years. Lightweight yet protective, everything within fast, easy each. Customizable interior, loads of accessory pockets, and exclusive, innovative features geared to the real-world needs of the working pro. A bag that works hard, but doesn't call attention to itself.
