Shopper : Will a Nikon D5300 with the 18-140mm kit lens fit in this bag, with the lens mounted on the camera body?BRETT G : Yes, I have a Canon T3i that fits fine with a 55-250mm lens mounted.PAGE D : I wanted to reply to this question because I simply love this bag. I bought it for it's medium size so I would be forced to not carry "the kitchen sink" with me. Now, as to the question...my Nikon D600 with an 80-200 lens is about 10 1/2 inches long. It will fit but is a little too tight for my liking. I would think a total length of around nine inches would be best. So, if your long lens and body is no more than nine inches I think you will be fine. Of course you can also mount the smaller lens on the camera body and put that combination in the center pocket and the zoom in one of the remaining two pockets. That leaves one more for a flash and/or a light meter. Filters, batteries, etc can go in the front zippered front pockets. Put a tablet in the padded area behind the gear and you are good to go. I've used this bag constantly for nearly three years and it has held up really well. I would definitely buy one again.
