It works. However, you need to find a 1/4" screw the right length if you want to attach it to the Bolt mounting bracket, and this means that you then can't leave it attached if you then want to mount the receiver to something else with a 1/4" screw. Not a huge deal, but the design is not ideal. For $, it also wouldn't have killed Teradek to offer this with all the screws needed and also a length of Velco tape.
