The Telex PH8S Single-Sided Headset with Flexible Dynamic Boom Microphone is specifically designed for Sony cameras, to provide reliable communication through carbon camera intercoms, in television studios or remote production locations. The PH-8S comes with a sensitive, omnidirectional carbon microphone, optimized for the spoken voice frequency range and compatible with Western Electric-type intercom circuits. The microphone is mounted on a fully adjustable swiveling boom that positions on either side of the head.

The PH-8S earphones have sensitive magnetic receivers that can be easily removed and replaced in the field, conveniently and economically. The adjustable headband for the headset is nicely padded and fits comfortably for extended wear. A high quality, tangle resistant, unterminated coiled cord, featuring durable strain relief at the ear cup, can be easily equipped with site-specific custom connectors as required.
