For the price, it is a very good deal. It would be nice to have a little more grip on the rotation ring and a dot painted on there for reference as I use it on rangefinder cameras. Overall a very neutral color balance. Probably not a better filter deal out there for around $20

Bought this for a photoshoot of a car to help cut down on window glare. The build is nice however the polarizing effect leaves much to be desired. Though it did an okay job at cutting through the glare the effect was pretty uneven and seemed spotty. The spots didn't come through in my images as far as I can tell but still won't be risking using it again on a paid shoot. Being able to rotate the filter to have the effect or not is really useful but if you can, I'd suggest a higher quality filter as this one was a let down

The purchase was easy. The phone sales person was helpful, calm, thorough. The filter came when it was supposed to. It was exactly what I thought it was going to be. All was good.

I have very specific needs photographing artwork. When crossing this filter with another polarizer, it only partially shades, meaning, it is only partially polarizing. It might be fine for others, and for cutting less light, but I'm going to need the pricey one.

I use it on rainy days to take the reflection off of leaves. It also makes white clouds more contrasty in a blue sky. The only thing I don't like about it is that you have to turn it to get the polarization and I also have to turn the same area to focus manually when I need to and sometimes I turn the wrong thing.

I like to use this for shooting landscapes since it cuts through the haze in the sky and gives me bluer blues. Really makes the clouds pop.

Very inefficient. Doesn't block much polarized light when compared to several other brands. Loose construction isn't all that bad.

Everything but the mount is fine. I get a feeling that the glass may come out of its frame anytime. It has such a bad mount, that sometimes I cannot use the thread in front of it without trying to push the glass in.

Bring your photography to life with the 49mm Linear Polarizer Glass Filter, a crucial tool for enhancing the vibrancy and depth of your images. This polarizer filter is designed to elevate color saturation across the spectrum, excluding black and white, to produce stunning, richly-hued scenic shots.
The filter's unique ability to add contrast makes it perfect for capturing dramatic skies and aerial views. It also effectively eliminates the distracting, whitish glare from highly reflective surfaces such as glass and water, ensuring your images are clear and sharp.
The 49mm Linear Polarizer Glass Filter features a two-part rotating lens system. This allows you to manually adjust the level of saturation, contrast, and glare reduction to suit your creative vision.
Tiffen, a trusted name in the photography industry, offers this polarizer filter in both standard and warm versions. The warm polarizer incorporates Tiffen's exclusive 812 warming filter, which lends a cozy, muted feel to portraits and scenic shots while preserving their rich coloration.
This product is a Linear Polarizer, designed specifically for older metering systems. However, Tiffen also offers a range of polarizer filters to cater to different needs, including Standard Linear, Standard Circular, Warm Circular (which combines a polarizer with the 812 warming filter), and Wide Angle Circular. The latter is a thin filter crafted to prevent vignetting at the edges when used with larger wide-angle lenses.
In summary, the 49mm Linear Polarizer Glass Filter is an essential accessory for photographers seeking to enhance their images' color, contrast, and clarity.
