Tian L : Does this fit a Nikon 18-55mm lens? How about a 55-200mm one?MICHAEL S : Both kit lenses accept 52mm filters. I recommend getting a UV filter that is also multicoated to control lens flare. I made the mistake of buying a less expensve one and was disappointed when it produced lens flare. I changed it out for MC and now it's not a problem. A UV that is MC is good protection and can still be found for less than $20. The Hoya is a good one.LARRY M : Yes, 52mm is the correct filter size for both the Nikon 18-55mm and the 55-200mm lenses.SUNFLOWERANNE S : Yes, this filter fits both of the lenses about which you ask. I have both of these lenses and use the filter on both. You might want to get such a filter for each of your lenses and leave them in place. Get out your best reading glasses and look at the front area of your lens, near the threaded area where the filter screws onto the lens. There you will see a number which corresponds with the diameter of the threads in mm. (This has NOTHING to do with the focal length of the lens.) That indicates the diameter of filter which will fit that lens. Tiffen filters--a family tradition.

It's a family tradition--Tiffen filters. First thing I put on a lens is a UV filter (latest 80-400 Nikon). Images have been clear & sharp with the filter in use. Good quality reliable filter that I use for lens protection. My inherited Rolleiflex twin lens has a full complement of Tiffen filters.

Protective Tiffen Filter - great protection for g70 lens...

Threaded on smoothly onto my g70 lens. Then I put hood on, fit perfectly. I use it as added protection for the lens. Tiffen filters are great products.
