JACK P : I am using a Sony NEX 5T camera that has had its internal "hot mirror" removed with a blue-blocking filter on the front ... makes it perform like a color infrared camera. But, I also need to put a "hot mirror" on (taking off the blue blocking filter so that it works then as a natural color camera. Is the TIffen 55 Hot Mirror Filter that right filter to add to the front of the ring (which has a 52-mm to 55-mm step up ring on it?CINDY B : I would love to answer your question.. But I had a medical accident last year and to be honest I have not even gotten to use my new equipment bought. Sorry. Hope you can find answer from another customer. Cindy

Really Effective

Digital Cameras use infra red to focus, it often results in overly red/purple colours in flowers. This takes the effect away and also save time trying to correct the colour later. I've took some wonderful plant and flower photos, some of which sold to a calendar company, as they liked the vividness of the images
