excellent optics and uv protection but this, and all wide angle,thin glass, filters, have no front threads to hold the lens cap on. you must get a push on cap to protect the filter. for this 77mm filter, i got an 80mm od push on cap from b+w at adorama.

Great glass. Doesn't affect the images. Love the low profile except be aware that you can't use a lens cap with this filter.
