I don't know why I didn't purchase this sooner! Popped this bad boy on my canon 50mm lens and helps so much outdoors if you want to achieve that cinema look. These are a must have for any photographer or cinematographer without built in ND filters.

I love this filter so far! I’ve only been able to use it once but it did what it was supposed to do.

Arrived as promised. It's on a very pricey lens and doing its work!

High quality filter priced right. My experience with Tiffen filters has, without exception, been first-rate. Can’t go wrong with Tiffen filters!

I haven't got to use it that much yet, so far I think I'm going to like it.

I haven't used the filter much yet, but it does do what I wanted. I have only one nit to pick -- there is no obvious marking for the center /top of the darker part of the filter. It would be useful if there were such that could be seen even when the lens hood is on.

Great add on lens if you take a lot of outdoors landscape photos, adds great color for situations where top half or bottom half of scene is washed out.

I find the grading to be a bit abrupt (hence visible in my captures) but it's not bad for the price. I'm happy for now and will look for something better when my photos warrant it :)

One problem is the filter is actually two parts. One ring attaches to the camera and the other rotates to allow the gradient feature to rotate to cover the area for darkening. The attachment part has a griping part but it is level with the rotating ring. Would be nice if it was slightly larger for better griping

This is a wonderful filter for the bright skies in Arizona. Also leaves the rest of your image unchanged.

I love this - it is a simple and inexpensive graduated filter that screws right onto the lens. It rotates smoothly. Even though it didn't look that way, the gradation is really subtle - no obvious line. Watch your metering or bracket though. I didn't notice any off-coloring, but I've only used it for sunset shots. I would like one that is even darker.

I used the Tiffen ND grad to shoot a sunset, rotating the dark side to the sky. It brought out the colors of the sky beautifully. I'm not a filter expert but it looks more like a split ND than a graduated, hence the reason for 4 stars. I thought it should have a more gradual change. Otherwise, I'm happy with the filter's performance.

I haven't had a chance to use it in a real photo shoot yet, but I have experimented with it and it works well. Can't wait to try it on a nice sunset or sunrise. Price was good and Adorama service and delivery was excellent as usual.

I use this to help darken skys for better dynamic range. The only problem with it is your horizon is pretty much fixed becuase there is no adjustment on the filter unlike a Cokin system which I find much better.

exactly what I was looking for to tone down the sky to even the exposure for twilight time exposures... have used it successfully in combination with other ND filters. constructive suggestion - mark the filter on the ring to idendify the horizon - this filter is not always in front.

Bought this filter to take on a recent trip to the Grand Canyon. The filter has too harsh of and end point for my purposes. In my opinion this would be much better suited for images with specific horizons that are only in the middle of the frame.

Much easier than darkening the sky in post-production.

I like to shoot rapids during the summer when it is very bright here so this is the way to get the perfect exposure in every condition.

Shooting in Montana. Landscapes, mountains and dramatic cloud formations, few places on earth can match. Use item, -HDR, color and B&W. etc. Have used to emphase top, bottom, or angles on sides and corners----enhancements not possible with polarizer alone; Usually use tem alone, but have experimented in combination with polarizer---that two can serve some purposes, but most often use gradient filter alone. Over 60yrs experience, this Tiffin is first experience w/ gradient filters. It's become vital. Nikon D90, LightRoom, Photoshop, NIK software.

To add depth to your landscape shot and not have the sky blown out or the forground loose shadow detail a graduated filter is a must.

Causes slight vinaigrette when used on a Tokina 12-24mm wide angle lens at 12mm and apertures wider than approx f13.

Tiffen filters may be on the inexpensive side, but they are built very well. I have found this and all other Tiffen filters that I've purchased to be as good as the most expensive filters I have in my bag (B+W MC, Hoya MC). Although this is not a multicoated filter, I haven't run into any problems at all and flare doesn't seem to be any more of an issue with this filter than it is with my multicoated filters. This filter has a very gradual shift in tint, and this makes it especially easy to use compared with some of the harder-edged grad filters. Buy this and any other Tiffen filter with confidence and enjoy!

Yes, you can do a lot in photoshop, you always do. However, when you get it right, when you take the shot, the results are always better. ND-Grads are a must. Below a #6, not worth it. Now you can expose/focus on the subject highlights without blowing out the sky..... Also, tip, most wide angle zooms will "vinette" with multiple filters (UV+ND)get a larger ND with step ring....no need to constantly remove UV

Fixes sky exposure problems

Maybe not the best filter out there, but perfect for me and my Nikon D200. Works great on a washed-out sky. Slight vignetting with my 18-200mm, very minor. Absolutely met my expectations.

Because capturing the perfect shot often means balancing disparate light intensities within a single frame, the 67mm Color Graduated ND .6 (4x) Filter emerges as an essential tool for photographers. This high-quality filter is specifically designed to address the challenges of outdoor photography, where the brightness of the sky can overwhelm the details in the foreground, or vice versa. By using this durable and effective filter, you can achieve a harmonious exposure across your composition.
The 67mm Color Graduated ND .6 (4x) Filter boasts a smooth transition from its neutral density effect to clear, allowing for a natural gradation of light that can be crucial in capturing the subtleties of a sunrise or the textures of a cityscape. Its versatility makes it a go-to accessory for landscape and architectural photographers who require precise control over their exposure levels.
Crafted with ease of use in mind, this filter is a breeze to attach and adjust, ensuring that even those new to using graduated ND filters can quickly learn to create stunning, balanced images. The filter's effectiveness is further enhanced by its ability to allow for wider apertures and slower shutter speeds in bright conditions, giving photographers the creative freedom to convey motion or achieve a desired depth of field.
While some users may find the transition from dark to clear zones more pronounced than in some alternative filters, this characteristic can be a stylistic choice that appeals to many. The filter's solid construction and high optical quality ensure that it remains a reliable piece of equipment in any photographer's kit.
In summary, the 67mm Color Graduated ND .6 (4x) Filter is a versatile, high-quality, and easy-to-use solution for photographers looking to master the art of exposure balance. Whether you're shooting film or digital, in South Florida's sunshine or the soft light of dawn, this graduated ND filter is an indispensable tool for achieving consistently accurate and visually compelling photographs.
