Shopper : Does this filter work with a Nikon D5100 with a Sigma 18-200mm DC OS lens?NICHOLAS T : The sigma 18-200 DC OS takes a 72mm filter. This 72mm Tiffen UV filter should work just fine. I've had 2 Tiffen UV filters in the past, they work just fine but the lens caps have a problem attaching to the filters.ROBERT M : I use it on a Canon lens but the threads are universal so it should work.KATHLEEN B : I'm sorry, I use mine on a Canon camera.JONATHAN M : As long as the filter ring diameter of your lens is 72mm, then it should fit right on. The ring size should be printed on the lens near the top. I think the Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS is 72mm, but the Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 II DC OS HSM is 62mm. Tiffen filters--a family tradition.
It's a family tradition--Tiffen filters. First thing I put on a lens is a UV filter (latest 80-400 Nikon). Images have been clear & sharp with the filter in use. Good quality reliable filter that I use for lens protection. My inherited Rolleiflex twin lens has a full complement of Tiffen filters.

As with a real friend, a UV filter is there.
This Tiffen UV filter no only provides general protection from dust, rain, scratches, finger prints and others hazards, it also reduces the bluish cast of daylight and helps to absorb ultraviolet light. I recommend UV filters.

This Tiffen UV filter no only provides general protection from dust, rain, scratches, finger prints and others hazards, it also reduces the bluish cast of daylight and helps to absorb ultraviolet light. I recommend UV filters.

Protective Tiffen Filter - great protection for g70 lens...
Threaded on smoothly onto my g70 lens. Then I put hood on, fit perfectly. I use it as added protection for the lens. Tiffen filters are great products.
