Good for lock off shots, not good for shots that require pans/tilts.

The head is fine. It's great if you need locked off shots for photo or video. It's not designed for panning and tilting during shots. There is no dampening/counter resistance for pan and tilt. So to do a tilt shot, you must feather the tilt lever, meaning, you have to unlock the tilt lever, tilt and then relock the title lever. The same goes for the pan functions. This makes operating pans and tilts more difficult and more likely to blow takes. I wish I would have known this before getting this head.
