Leslie A : This would be my first tripod and I want to use it to take still photos of me and my husband and family pics. Will it work with my Canon Rebel?STEPHANIE I : yes it will! I use my Nikon d5100 on it all the time with no problems!CHRIS L : This unit is fairly priced , easy to work with and maneuver. The quick release is standard and will fit mostly all 35 mm equipmentFLOYD M : YesPETER S : These tripods as well as the cameras all come with a standard screw on the tripod end and a threaded hole on the camera that are exact matches. So the simple answer is that this tripod will work with your Canon rebel. Having said that and risking to complicate things I would like to make one recommendation: The tripod top end has a removable adapter which is the part that screws into the camera. This adapter when screwed into your camera allows you to mount the camera quickly and remove it quickly. I would recommend that you leave that adapter on the tripod. I have misplaced my adapter and, at the present time, have rendered my tripod useless as a result.
