I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and extended this monopod. I went with cheep because of an upcoming trip and this baby is very well made for the money. It is very adjustable and plenty long. I'm 6 feet and it can put the camera above my line of site. It seems very sturdy, we'll see over time. Impressed with the quality for the money I spent.

This is my second one- I had the first one 15 years or so and wore it out. I take this on any trip where I am taking my camera. The ability to use as a walking staff was invaluable on a 3 week trip with a sore ankle.

A decent monopod. Heading to do some photography in Arizona and got this for the trip. Will be doing a bit of hiking and using this.

I haven't had a chance to use this yet but considering it's design compared to my last monopod I'm excited. The specs say the max height is 68" but fully extended it is taller than I am at 72" so not sure why the discrepancy. However, as long as I can use it at eye level without scrunching over I'll be happy. The lock/unlock levers work smoothly and since there are four sections you can adjust the height infitinely within the range. A big plus since I will be using it on rough, irregular ground. I really like the option to cover the ground spike for those instances when I happen to be on a hard surface though. For [$] shipped I think this item is a great value and will suit my needs perfectly.

This is especially great for adding stability to quick on the run shooting.

The Davis & Sanford by Tiffen Vista Trailblazer Monopod is a great mobile platform that can take you where a tripod can't go. It's one of the best lightweight, compact travel monopods for sports photography, birding, nature photography and of course wedding photography.
