I am so pleased with this case. I was looking for a bag I could open up and strap my laptop in. This bag lets me do this and I have a separate bag that I use to put my cords in to store on top of the laptop when I travel.

I am very pleAsed with this bag. It was suggested by an HP adviser for my HP envy dv7, with 17-inch screen. It actually has a rubber bumper along the bottom and side to protrct the laptop as well as generous padding. Many pockets tocarry everything I need. Its a heavy laptop but the handle even has cushion to make it easy ont the hands. It was a little more than i wanted to pay, but wellworth it.

I've been carrying my 17" MacBooks in a leather briefcase for the last couple of years, but an upcoming trip prompted me to look for something with more durability, more carrying space, and ease of travel through customs and security checks. It looks like the features and durability are just what I expected -- and I think it should be easier to get through TSA with this open-display case than dragging the laptop out of the old bag.
