stay away
I do not reccomend this flash, at all. Mine started to randomly go into a strobe-like mode (not a feature or option to select on this flash). It is also slow to recycle, even w/ newly charged batteries. The optical slave feature is nice, but doesn't always register the other flash.
I bought this because it seemed to have a lot of features for it's price. It had one 5-star rating so i took a chance. Don't make the same mistake I did; pick another less-feature rich flash or spend some more.

inconsistant in it's operation
I bought this because the one review was 4 stars, and it had lots of features for a low price. (I use a Canon T2i)
However after using it a few times, I'm very dissapointed in it:
- Inconsistant firing: doesn't always recognize that you want it to fire
- no 2nd curtian sync
- slow recycle time (even on full Li-ion batteries)
- power does not adjust from camera input
- battery door difficult to close
- randomly acts like a disco strobe (continous repeated flashing)
I would reccomend spending more for a better flash, or the same for a less-featured flash. I am dissapointed in this flash.

Great Value
I have had this flash for about a year and have been very happy with it. It does exactly what I need it to do which is to add enough light that I can use a faster shutter speed to freeze the motion of my 2 and 1 year old boys. For the price I don't think this can be beat. I plan to get at least one more and slave it so I can get better fill lighting for family pictures.
My only negative (and it's a slight one) is that it doesn't have the fastest recycling time. But for practically every purpose I use it for it works great and I am very pleased with it.
