Doesn't work with HP

Will not work with my HP laptop. Took it back to Staples where I bought both the computer & the lock. Technician couldn't get it to work. Opened a brand new one; same result. Store manager tried; no go. Went to Best Buy - bought a Dynex cable lock. It doesn't work either; I think it's not the locks - it's the computer. Love my HP Pavilion Entertainment PC. Sure hope nobody steals it. Listening, HP?

Works great
