Perfect for the hybrid office life
The roller is sturdy but light and easy to maneuver. It holds just enough and discourages over-packing, which I appreciate

The Bag ... CityGear Overnight Travel Roller
Replacing an old one that got a bad wheel ... very satisfied with the bag and style with roomy sections especially if you carry two pc's and an extra set of clothes. I am tuff on you Targus designers, but you have a great bag with the CityGear Overnight Travel Roller is a great buy!!!

The handle on one side does not engage the locking clip at times. The handle and rails feels loose like it's too small for that roller bag.

Where'd the strap go?
I have owned or gifted 7 of these bags over the past 15 or so years. It was by far the best large/flexible/overnight/daily computer bag on the market. I told COUNTLESS other people how great it was. My handle and wheels finally gave out so I was returning to happily buy another one. And then I noticed that there was no shoulder strap and no shoulder hooks even. That immediately ended my search. The bag's super power was that you could roll it when it was completely full or heavy, but could still throw it over your shoulder as you boarded a flight or climbed a set of stairs in a hurry. Without the shoulder strap, I will be forced to buy elsewhere. :(

An overnight gem of a bag!
If you're seeking a 'one bag does it all,' this Targus product is it! Lamp top, iPad, any/all electronics tuck neatly in a 'compartment.' Clothes and toiletries snuggle in a larger space. Zip closed, wheel away. In the overhead bin, or under the seat in front of you. No fuss with checked luggage, or waiting at a carousel. Exit the plane (or train), and you're on your way--with your 'necessities' with you--in fact, safely at all times. Targus--a winner for sure!

Targus Rolling Traveler carry on bag
Great spacious well made bag and I take two pc(s to sites and need to pack a shirt in case the airport miss placed my luggage and this carry on bag fits my requirements.

It works for me on the railroad, 10+ years
I've used Targus roller bags for 10+ years on the railroad to hold my laptop/ipad and various rules books. Some features have been lost over the years as I usually have to purchase a new bag every 2-3 years due to wear and tear and the abuse on the railroad. The bags used to be wider and offered a shoulder strap (easy to climb up the ladder of the locomotive with a shoulder strap) which are now lost. It still works well and the wheels stand up to hours of rolling and heat. The only other weakness is the bag will lean forward after a year or so as the plastic support under the bag starts to give under the weight of a laptop and books.
Otherwise great bag. I've purchased probably 4 bags and had 2 replaced for free by Targus (although sending the bag back to them from Florida to Anaheim costs nearly $90 so it's almost better to just buy a new one outright).
Thanks Targus and please bring back the shoulder strap!

Not bad - still comparing to previous model
Purchased this one as a replacement for the previous model which I had for slightly over 2 years. Held up well, but seams splitting. Had heavy use as I travel a lot and stuff lots of gear into it. New model a little different - tablet compartment is open and can't be closed off, which is my biggest gripe. Build quality seems to be the same high standard. I think it should last as long as my old one. Would like to see some partitioning in new models to keep gear seperate - ideal would be some padding with Velcro to accommodate multiple configurations... But as it is - still a good case.

Color is solid black, no gray trim
I bought my Targus Rolling Travel Laptop Case to transport my portable electronics safely if I ever have to make an emergency evacuation. It will easily hold my laptop, iPad, and Nook and chargers. IPhone will be in purse. The color is solid black, which I prefer over the pictured gray trim. Haven't used the case yet, but it is waiting next to my bug-out bag. Never know when there will be a wildfire, earthquake, or zombie apocalypse!
