This is a pretty straight forward. A sturdy shelled laptop case that allows your laptop to be used when opened with the clam shell. The Macbook Pro 16" fits well. my 16" extended monitor fits in it separately too. It is a sleek case that gives piece of mind for traveling, bike commuting and protecting laptop. It doesn't have any additional bells and whistles (like extra pockets for mice or chargers which was a big reason why I wanted it.

This was actually recommended to me by a Genius Bar employee. makes much more sense than just a simple plastic snap on cover for your new 5000 $ MacBook Pro. Offers convenient and sturdy protection from damage. While laptop can be utilized while still inside the case, I usually remove it for maximum cooling.

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro 16" and I want to keep it in pristine condition.This Thule Gauntlet is an excellent quality protective sleeve for your laptop. There are a lot of cheaper options out there but none of them come close to the quality of the Thule sleeve.

Very happy with this case. I keep my Mac in it all the time and close it when not using. The Mac does not get hot underneath either which I am very happy about. Highly recommend

Seems like a well built case. It is a very protective case, while the laptop is stored inside. I don't know if I would recommend actually using it in the clamshell, as I believe it restricts airflow to the side vents. I do have one complaint about the case; I wish there was A LOT more cushioning on the sides, in and around the zipper. That's really the only thing lacking that I can find in this particular item, and outside of that, it was great value for money. Cheers, love an all that.

This appears to be well made, fits as advertised, and will prevent scratches, and in the event of a drop (with the case zipped up), it will offer a decent amount of protection. It is NOT however anywhere remotely close to crush proof. I was looking for something that would prevent a tight backpack from marking the screen with the keyboard over time, with out huge bulk. This is not the solution. Otherwise it seems to be one of the best options out there.

This is a little big for my old 13" MacBook Pro, but it fits it snug and will prevent it from getting even more beat up than it is. If this is half as good as my old iPad case it'll last for a long time.

I was looking for a case that would be big enough to fit my 15.6 inch PC laptop. At first I tried the 15 inch sleeve, however that was ever-so-slightly too small. This sleeve fits this laptop size perfectly. The dimensions of my laptop are (14.1, 9.8, 0.7) (W X D X H). There is little extra room, so if the laptop would exceed those dimensions I would advise looking at something different. It is very sturdy and feels very well built, just like other THULE products.
