The encoder supports the MPEG-2 codec and Dolby AC/3 audio, ensuring broad compatibility and the ability to be viewed by virtually every TV in the United States.The 4-Channel HD-SDI Broadcast Encoder with IPTV Streamer expertly multiplexes all four program streams into an ASI MPTS output on mirrored BNC terminals. This ASI output can be directly linked to the ASI input on a QAM-IP digital TV channel modulator, enabling the addition of extra programs to the QAM-IP output channels as "virtual" or "sub" channels. This feature allows for the creation of channels such as 2.1, 2.2, and so forth, with each digital channel capable of carrying up to 20 programs, contingent on resolution and encoded bit rate.Beyond the ASI output, the program streams are also accessible as UDP or RTP network video transport streams. Fully compliant with IGMP Multicast UDP MPEG-TS standards, these streams can be effortlessly integrated into almost any IPTV system. The universally accepted format of the stream ensures easy viewing in client applications like VLC.The 4-Channel HD-SDI Broadcast Encoder with IPTV Streamer also boasts network management on a dedicated NMS Ethernet port, allowing for easy viewing or adjustment of all settings and menu configuration items from the front panel LCD and keypad.
