Thecus I8500 2U Rackmount iSCSI NAS Server with Advanced Data Protection

The Thecus i8500 iSCSI Raid System stores up to 16 TB of data and supports serial console management and UPS devices. It features an Intel Xscale IOP Processor, an 8x SATA interface and supports up to 256 virtual disks. RAID protection provides efficient and reliable data storage capability. You can choose from multiple RAID levels (0, 1, 0+1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 30, 50, 60 and JBOD). With SATA II technology, it is possible to achieve data transfer rates up to 3.0 Gbps.

Hot-swappable disk drive bays allow you to easily add hard drives to the i8500 iSCSI Raid System, without shutting it down. In addition to offering the snapshot service that takes point-in-time backups of selected volumes, it also comes with the rollback feature that allows you to recover volumes. Two gigabit Ethernet ports present at the front-end enable quick and easy data transfer. Power is drawn from a 350W redundant power supply.
