Benefitting from not needing to break down camera tele combo at end of football games. Not worried now about stress on the lens mount.

Let me start by saying I love Think Tankand Mindshift bags! I have so many including the Mindshift 360! I was super bummed when I bought my new RF600f4 and it didn't fit the TT glass limo like my EF500 did. I pulled the trigger on this bag. It is bigger than I expected. It will hold my 600 plus my 1.4TC on a full frame body. This is huge as I hate to open bodies in the field. Highly recommend! Feel free to follow my work at KentJarrett everywhere. Every once in a while, there's an important piece of gear that comes along that fills the void for photographers that carry long telephoto lenses - especially the 600mm f/4 attached to a pro body or even the new Sigma 300-600mm f/4 DG OS Sports. The great news is that this Think Tank bag can also be customized for a totally different set up to hold other lenses and camera bodies. I've packed 2 camera bodies, 2 telephoto lenses and 3 standard lenses into this bag along with other accessories! The BackLight Long Lens Camera bag is a very comfortable pack that won't **** your back. This camera bag is equipped with padded shoulder straps as well as a padded waist belt to keep you moving comfortably on your trail. There are many compartments to store your gear on this bag such as a tablet, batteries, snacks, passport, phone, water bottle and a tripod. The bag is complimented with a rain cover for those rainy days to keep your pack dry.

ThinkTANK has consistently delivered high-quality products, and this backpack is no exception. It holds my 400/2.8 S lens with an attached 2.0X teleconverter and an attached Z9 camera. All securely protected in a high quality backpack.

I just received this Long Lens backpack and it really exceeds my high expectations. I've really been frustrated over the years to find a camera backpack to carry a 600 f/4 with lens attached. There are several options out there, but most are just too big and bulky. This pack is the perfect balance of being able to carry the big lens with body attached, tripod or monopod, a jacket, water bottle, and accessories yet be relatively slim and not too bulky. The shoulder straps and more importantly the waist belt are designed very well, it's very comfortable and most of the weight can be on the waist like a backpacking pack. Few camera backpacks pull this off successfully in my experience. I'll be using it with a Nikon D850 and 600 f/4 E and it fits easily, there's enough room for a teleconverter to be attached or the FTZ adapter when I eventually purchase a mirrorless body. The waist belt and sides of the pack have webbing rails that you can attach additional modular bags or components. I tried my Gitzo series 3 tripod with large ballhead and the pack's mounting system on the back works great, felt very secure. I own a few other smaller thinktank backpacks that I've used extensively and this new Long Glass pack is made with the small quality of materials and workmanship, so I know it'll hold up well.
