I've been using this backpack for about five years now, and I've known for a while that I'll replace it with the same one when (if ever) it wears out. It's by far the best backpack I've ever owned. This backpack has gotten me across multiple countries on its own. Tons of room to squeeze in whatever you may need, more than adequate for daily use if you're a student or just need a little more convenient storage than a messenger type bag may provide. I also love the little hard shell compartment on the front. I can put sensitive items in there such as a phone, sunglasses, or other easily breakable objects, and feel comfortable that they will be safe. Even if you don't need a hefty backpack, I still recommend this one. It isn't too bulky if you don't put too much in it, but if the need ever arises, well... 27L!

Bought this for my boyfriend and he loves it!!!! Uses it for almost everything and would go as far as saying it's the best backpack around.

This is my FAVORITE backpack out there. The second favorite is the Subterra 30L and thats mostly for work and travel. The Escort2 is my favorite because it has soooo many uses and hidden functions. You can get super creative with this backpack (ie., loop holes everywhere, neatly spaced compartments, organized pockets, tripod loops on the bottom, water source holder in the laptop bag, bag adjustment for empty or filled packing, super easy/basic access to the compartments, and the fact that its Thule!) However, I have 2 re-occurring issues that must be addressed (please): 1) The stretchy mesh side pockets are weak and are easily damaged. Please make them durable and rugid to prevent such a nice bag from being damaged. 2) The fabric is not as strong and water resistant as your newer bags (they get soaked easily, even from a drizzle, and get fuzzy or scraped when placed on any surface of the floor) Can you please update this or make a Escort 3.0? I will seriously sell this at my gym like candy! Why is this a big deal for me? Well you guys do not make basic style bags anymore. All of your bags are flat and clean looking, yes, but what about having a basic style bag like this one where you have multi-compartments and funtions. Where we can have the choice to go in the wild or to work while looking fresh. Maybe make it 30-32L by adding a side access pocket for the laptop, better quality and durable side pockets for water bottles and whatever else, large 'safe zone' pocket for small headphones (which i use now and its awesome) and sun glasses, small front pocket/compartment for utilities (multi-tool, rain jacket, gum, etc.) and some padding all around like the Subterra (but keep the teal blue colors please). Sorry for being demanding. I love your bags/products and always tell my friends, peers, clients to grab this brand. I just want to see this style of bag (durable, rugid, classy and professional, and mult-functional) stay in your brand line but with some ugrades

I travel a lot for work and play and I needed a sturdy well organized back pack to tote my electronics and stuff around. I chose Thule due to their products being rugged and well thought out. I love my Thule escort 2 but after less than a year of being my carry on one strap and the top carry handle is frayed to the point of breaking soon. It looks as if someone has slowly been sawing at it. I've never seen this occur with quality cordura or general tough nylon. The bag is awesome, I'm not sure if I got a defective pack or it's just not constructed well.

6 months of use with 4 flights and the fishnet stocking mesh on the outside of the shoulder straps on one side has torn full length, about 8". My other laptop backpacks have lasted for years (5+) with dozens of flights and much rougher conditions, so I'm disappointed that the material choice for the shoulder straps is not durable. Lots of features and otherwise a well thought out laptop backpack, but materials failure negates all of the good. Maybe not a defect in materials, just a poor choice to begin with. I really wanted to like it.

Laptop, nintendo 3DS, tablets, kindle paperwhite, all my glasses, some clothes and several things my girlfriend could not put in her luggage. The backpack does not have end and is super confortable for the back with the double system, is simply perfect

Decided to buy this pack as an everyday backpack. I work in IT and travel quite a bit, so I needed a bag that was comfortable and had enough storage for all of my gear. I can easily fit my 15" MacBook Pro and 9.7" IPad Air 2 in the top compartment (has their own slots). Among the other compartments, I can fit all of my cables, headphones w/ case, books/notebooks, and still have plenty of room! This is a great bag with tons of storage, plenty of padding, and made to last!
