Tiffen 77mm Digital Ultra Clear Protective Glass Filter to protect the glass on my Canon EF24-70 mm f/2.8L lens that I bought from Adorama. All I of my lenses I buy clear lenses to protect the glass. I have used these filters as protection against my lenses. They work great and do not alter the image at all. I do see some alteration with UV filters on digital cameras (may be just me but..).This brand is great for the price.

I have been looking for a clear filer for 5 yrs. Thank you Tiffen. I believe in covering the lens to keep it safe from scratches and to make it safe to clean with any lens cleaning product and not just the one from the lens manufacture.

Bought this filter to protect my newly acquired Sigma 24mm?105mm Art lens. I did not want to spend close to $ for a piece of glass but on the other hand did not want to compromise image quality with a cheap filter. This appears to do the job, the photos I am taking with the Sigma lens are top notch, with and without the Tiffen filter.

This filter is stunningly clear. Also should be a great protector. It replaced another WhiteWater lens like it. Camera fell and landed on blacktop right on the front of the lens, The filter broke but it protected the lens well.

I use this on my 70-200 f2.8 VR II Nikkor. I shoot sports mainly around the pool deck and occasionally get some water splash on the lens/camera. This makes it easy to wipe it off and not worry about scratching the mail lens.

I use the Tiffen Ultra Clear Protective WW Glass Filter to protect my lens when shoot on the beach or in the desert. The reason I recommend them is because they save my lens from being pitted by blowing sand and that makes them a bargain. I have also found that they in no way prevent me from getting a sharp clear image. They could be left on all the time and sometimes I do that. Great quality. Highly recommend.

I have been using clear filters on my lens as oppose to using traditional UV filters. This one is decent. It does not effect picture quality yet serves as excellent lens protection.

Does what it's supposed to do. Protects the lens from dust, scratches, and even moisture to a certain extent. I have it on a 18-55mm that is used indoors only. I didn't want any light transmission reduced any so this is perfect for that. Also had a lens cap that didn't fit snug on the lens but now that it mounts to the filter it fits perfectly snug. The case mine came in was very shop-worn and wasn't sealed but after I cleaned off some minor dust it was just fine.

All of my lenses get a protective filter, and it has saved my lenses in the past. Prevents dirt, glass scrapes and cracks. Protect your lens, this is a great filter to use!
