Introducing the Camera Cage for Sony Alpha 7 V Power Kit

Compatible with the Sony a7V, a7IV, and a7R V, this single cage features an adjustable sliding design that allows precise positioning to ensure a secure fit across multiple camera bodies. Mounting options include 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with locating points as well as a cold shoe receiver.

An integrated dual-direction Arca-Swiss bottom plate enables fast mounting and easy positional adjustments on gimbals and tripods. The cage supports comfortable vertical shooting by allowing handles to attach via integrated 1/4"-20 threads.

Precision-engineered for clearance, the cage maintains the natural handling of the camera without obstructing buttons, the battery compartment, OEM flash units, microphone handles, or lens adapters. An included cable clamp helps secure loose cables and ensures stable signal transmission for HDMI cables, compatible with the Sony a7V, a7IV, and a7R V.

Included in this kit is the Xeno Top Handle, which connects to the Top Plate via 1/4"-20 and improves handling via an elegant design with increased clearance. This handle features multiple mounting options for additional accessories including 1/4"-20 threads and a Cold Shoe Receiver, perfect for mounting an external monitor.

The Arca Height Adjustable 15mm LWS Baseplate allows users to adjust the height of their camera in relation to their rods which helps maintain the LWS 85mm standard between rods and the center of their sensor in order to ensure compatibility with a range of various accessories and camera bodies.

Also included is the Xeno Side Handle which utilizes a 1/4"-20 connection to mount to the left side of the cage and features an adjustable height of 40mm. Non-slip silicone provides a textured grip that improves stability and mounting points such as a Cold Shoe Receiver and a 1/4"-20 thread with locating points accommodate additional accessories.

This 15mm Baseplate allows users to utilize 15mm rods (not included) in order to mount various accessories such as matte boxes or follow focus systems. Unique to this unit is the adjustable height design which allows users to adjust the height of their camera in relation to their rods.

This means that users can maintain the LWS 85mm standard between their rods and the center of their sensor in order to ensure compatibility with a range of various accessories and camera bodies.

The distance from the center of the rods to the Arca receiver ranges from 18mm to 38mm and is compatible with DJI standard Arca plates. The bottom of the baseplate is compatible with Tilta Standard Dovetails and also features 1/4"-20 threads for mounting to tripods and other support systems.

We recommend using this baseplate with camera systems that are under 10lbs.
