The standard Sound Field system with RS-232 wall panel control capability
The Forum 232 is the perfect Sound Field amplifier/receiver to support wireless microphones and multimedia audio sources. With 2 microphone channel inputs, a Digital Feedback Guard (DFG), computer anti-hum circuit switch on the aux/computer input and an RS-232 wall panel control input for simplified control, this system will meet the standard needs of most classrooms. When paired with our Sapphire (IRT-60) pendant microphone, the teacher gains the benefit of remote Security Alert, remote control over audio sources and of course, increased student engagement throughout the entire classroom.

- SP-628L Lay-In Ceiling Speaker -
SP-628L is a 6.5" two-way full range compact coaxial ceiling speaker, providing low distortion and a smooth natural frequency response ideal for articulate vocal clarity. The SP-628L is a complete loudspeaker assembly, with 12" frame, perforated steel grill and integrated steel back can and attached "T" bar for finish edge. Quick installation with minimal tile cutting.

Intended use
Indoor environment, mounted parallel to floor plane in a 24" wide suspended ceiling tile grid.

- ICS-55 Infrared Dome Sensor -
The ceiling sensor is the preferred infrared sensor for optimum performance. It comes standard with Forum, Maxim III, Spectrum II, VoiceLink I, VoiceLink Plus, VoiceLink III and VoiceLink IV packages. This unit needs to be installed on the ceiling at least 3'-0" from the video projector. It comes with a mounting/support bracket and 50 feet of plenum rated cable with RCA connector on each end.

The ideal location for the dome sensor would be in the center of the ceiling. This will provide a clear signal path for the IR transmission from the transmitter to the dome sensor without obstruction. In addition, you will have 360 deg. coverage and will minimize the transmission distance for more reliable performance. It collects the infrared transmission signal via 6 large detecting diodes. The sensor is connected to the mixer/amplifier via a plenum rated cable terminated with RCA connectors. The mixer/amplifier supplies the power to the sensor.

- IRH-35 Handheld Microphone Transmitter -
For use with all TeachLogic infrared sound systems. The handheld microphone/transmitter is primarily used by students for interactive class participation. The ergonomic design renders user comfort and very low handling noise. The unidirectional condenser microphone reproduces excellent vocal quality and the windscreen prevents breath pops. The emitting diodes are located around the top and bottom end of the handle for 360 deg. transmission and assured connectivity throughout the classroom.
