Pleasantly surprised
based on the amazon reviews, my main concern for the purchase was spacing b/w plugs since both rows of plugs have the ground part orientated at the same direction. at least for my use case, this was not an issue, maybe for bigger plugs than what i have? so far my only complaints are 1) i wish this 8 outlet came with a shorter cord similar to the 6 outlet version(at the time of purchase the 8 outlet was a couple of dollars more expensive than the 6). 2) I wish they included a mounting/drilli...

Tripp-Lite ISOBAR is the best; well worth the price.
I own 5 Tripp-Lite Isobar surge protectors in 4, 6, and 8 outlet sizes. They are the best. The surge protection has higher capacity (more Joules) than most. The diagnostic LEDs include detection of proper grounding as well as polarity check and protection status. The heavy duty on/off switch is illuminated and includes an overload/short circuit breaker.
