The product is very sturdy and durable. I have no fear plugging in my expensive audio equipment and it is completely silent and creates no interference with my audio.

This is the perfect solution

I bought this for my electronics lab and it us working out perfectly! It's built like a tank and has a lot built in features that attract me. I've only had it for a few weeks but it looks and feels like it will probably last me my whole life time. I will definitely be purchasing another one soon.

Nice PDU but the internal fuse should be extended to an externally accessible fuse holder so the fuse can be replaced by owner if needed. Also a small, inexpensive voltage meter would be helpful to be able to monitor line voltage.

I bought two of these when a recent power spike took down a couple of my portable USB hard drives, despite being behind a UPS and on a surge suppressing power strip. What I appreciate most about the 8-outlet Isobar is that the outlets aren't crowded together. I don't have any space conflicts between odd shaped "wall warts" that can't be resolved. An added bonus that I didn't expect are the little outlet covers that keep dust out of unused outlets. Indicator lamps tell a clear story at a glance. The generous cord lets me place it out of site and the angled flat outlet resolves any conflicts at the back of my *New* UPS or wall outlet.

Never trusting a cheap power strip to suppress surges again.

I used it to protect my stereo system. I can only say, it's well built and seems like a great value compared to others I've looked at. As far as satisfied , I will only be able to tell if there is a power serge.

For many years I have used Tripp Lite surge protectors. They are as reliable as the march of time.

Built like a tank.

Used Isobar products back in the day when I was a IT network admin in NYC. Now I live in heavily wooded area between steep hills lined with trees. The trees come down on the over head power lines and my computer gear is subject to full outages, bouncing yo-yo power, and major spikes. Got the Isobar 8 to protect against the dangerous zaps. Like the sturdy build, indicator lights and it's roomy enough to fit all my plugs. It's a great value and well worth it to avoid the nightmare of replacing a fried router & other mission critical gear. It gives me great peace of mind.

I bought this to protect my TV my stereo, my CPAC machine and other important electronics based on previous reviews from customers. So far it has not disappointed seems to be a very heavy piece of equipment. I've watched the tear down of this online, and seems to be extremely well built.

I'll probably buy another one

I live in a basement apartment and want to have some houseplants to give the living room some life. I bought some powerful LED lights to give some light to my succulents and I was worried I would over load a regular surge protector. With this Isobar, I have peace of mind to leave the lights on while I am at work. Thank you for a great product.

Peace of mind

A tank for plugs. I love this thing, the build quality is crazy. I bought this after a cheap Amazon surge protector didn't save my gaming PC from an outage. That was very expensive. First thing I did was a lot of research and buy these Tripp-Lites for our expensive electronics. Outstanding build quality and much higher joule rating has given me good peace of mind, and has me wanting to get one of their whole home ones that you plug into the circuit panel.

Learn from me and buy a Tripp-Lite.

I use this for home theater coverage of the tv, disc players, cable box, HD antenna & game console. A LCR 2400 covers the pre-pro & amplifiers. You can't go wrong with Tripp Lite.

Swear by Tripp Lite for performance & value

For 10 years we used a excellent HT10DBS for our audio/visual rack. The reset switch started to flicker so we purchased this Isobar unit. Whe we plugged it in all lites showed normal. Plugged in our componets from the rack and nothing worked. Tested the duplex outlet and the tester showed correct wiring. Test this unit outlets. 1 showed reversed hot and nutural and another showed hot - ground reversed. We currently use 2 other Trip-Lite units and anther brand battery back up unit for our computers, monitors, mosumes, and printers. I can't tell you how disappointed we are and yes we sent it bck to amazon.

Great protection

I have purchased four of these Isobar surge protectors. Heavy duty solid construction. They are build to last. I hope I never need it but if I do, I'm confident I have the right protection for my sensitive electronics.
