Pros:
- good quality videos including voice.
- alarm trigger quality is good; does not pick up from things like wind.
Cons:
- video only stays in the app for 2 days; wish there was an option to have alerts and videos emailed.
- set up instructions are pretty much non-existent. Download the app, and it walks you through getting the device online; however, no details about settings, etc.
- alarm trigger distance is short. We have this on front porch facing yard, porch, and driveway, and it does not trigger until someone/something is on the porch. Vehicles in and out of garage do not trigger camera, and this is less than 20' (about 16-17'.

wrong item
When I asked what camera I could use with my desktop computer to do face time with my students, this camera was recommended. When I received it I realized it is intended for outdoor use only, for viewing people at my front door. I intend to make use of it, but I still need a cam I can use inside with the HP computer I am on. This camera also only works with an app I am unable to down load on this hard drive. It requires an Apple product to be downloaded. I have too much to master right now so I can teach kindergarten students remotely to have to figure this one out. I'm not happy with the HP person who recommended this for my needs.

KASA smart devices
I have bought the KASA smart plugs 4, indoor camera 1, outdoor cameras 2, and smart switches 2. They all work flawlessly, use the same easy to use app, and I LOVE them. I would recommend KASA TP Link smart items to anyone.
