A reliable, durable, and effective "Surge Protection Strip"

I researched Surge Protection Outlet Strips currently on the market. I am a retired Electrical Engineer, and have had experience with Tripp-Lite products. I gravitated toward Tripp-Lite based on what I know about the design and quality of their products. I needed a "surge protection" strip for my sensitive electronics, and knowing Tripp-Lite's reputation, chose the "Safety" 900 Joule strip. It has twice the surge protection capability of lower priced, cheaper units. I also wanted a couple "transformer outlets" included in the strip, which this model has. The "lighted" ON/OFF switch/breaker was also a requirement. An additional need for me was the LED notification that the surge protection components were not damaged/compromised from any surges/spikes or other facilities power issues, or "near strike" lightning events. I would recommend this quality "Surge Protection Power Strip", without hesitation. You can't go wrong with this one. Regards,..Joe

The Tripp Lite TLM626SA surge suppressor is designed to provide safe, reliable surge protection in harsh environments. A 420 joule rating can protect connected equipment against even the strongest surges. 6 outlets protect connected equipment against damaging surges, spikes and line noise. Convenient transformer outlets accommodate multiple transformers without blocking other outlets.

A 6 ft. grounded cord reaches distant outlets. A lighted on/off switch with integrated circuit breaker provides power control over connected equipment. Breaker protects against dangerous system overload. Protected LED confirms that connected equipment is being protected.

4 safety covers shield unused outlets from debris and accidental contact. A rugged metal case stands up to the harshest environments. Integrated keyhole slots on bottom panel provide convenient wall/desk mounting.
